Needling
Needling is a recently introduced treatment for vitiligo. The pigmented edges of the vitiligo patch are repeatedly pricked with a needle stimulating pigment cells to physically move into the non-coloured patch. This treatment is usually combined with narrowband UVB or excimer laser/light. It takes several months before pigment spread is noticed.
